子曰：“三人行，必有我师焉。”中文里“三人”有着特殊的意义，那么“三人”对应的英文，到底是three people还是three persons?我们一起来看看吧～

　　01、“People”和“Person”的区别

　　Person

　　通常特指“某个人”，具有指定性

　　复数形式：persons

　　人们习惯性用people替换persons

　　Person强调的是个体，可以泛指man, woman或child中的任何一个，它的复数形式是persons，但人们习惯用people代替persons。

　　但是persons这一复数形式更正式，法律文书和官方文件使用的多是persons。

　　People

　　指一群人、某群人，范围更广

　　People强调的是群体，所以当说一个人的时候，不用people，当表示两个以上的人的时候，就需要用people了。

　　其实，three people和three persons这两种表达都可以使用，但我们要根据不同的情境使用。强调个人时，三个人就是three persons;强调整体的时候，我们要说three people。

　　所以，“三个人”更自然的说法，应该是three people

　　Someone who is particularly gregarious, affable, or outgoing; someone with great interpersonal communication skills.

　　特别合群、和蔼可亲或外向的人;有很好的人际沟通技巧的人。

　　“people person” 的意思是指：人缘好的人;善于交际的人。

　　【例】

　　Taylor was a people person. She was warm and friendly.

　　霉霉是个随和的人。她热情而友好。

　　03、Last-minute person是什么意思?

　　last-minute表示：最后的,紧急关头的，可以理解为：不是“刀挂在脖子上”,绝不去做某事

　　last-minute person则表示临时抱佛脚的人,拖延症的人(不到万不得已,绝不做某事的人)

　　【例】

　　I'm a typical last-minute person. I don't finish my work until the last minute.

　　我是个典型的拖延症患者，直到最后一分钟才能完成工作。
