Jack: How is the world treating you?
Molly: I can't complain. And you?
Jack: Same old, same old.
Molly: Have you ever taught anyone English?
Jack: You mean we would be the teachers?
Molly: That's right. When you teach something, you will never forget it.
Jack: We can teach my friend some English.
Molly: Great, let's teach her some English and a song.
杰克：你最近过得怎么样？
莫莉：挺好的，没什么可抱怨的。你呢？
杰克：老样子，老样子。
莫莉：你们又教什么人英语了吗？
杰克：你的意思是我们是老师？
莫莉：是啊，当你把一些东西教给别人的时候，（这些东西）你自己也就永远不会忘记了。
杰克：我们可以教我的朋友一些英语。
莫莉：好啊，让我们来教她一些英语和一首歌曲。

1) Awful（可怕的，糟糕的）: terrible, bad
I can't go into work today because my stomach feels awful.

Bill's wife dumped him last week.

2) Guidance（知道，建议，格言）: advice, helpful words

Molly : Awful, I have to dump one of my boyfriends. I have too many.

Gordon: I swear I won't bug you on the phone if you help me with finding a girlfriend.
Molly : There is a nice girl. Your future is looking up already.

莫莉：糟透了。我不得不甩掉一个男朋友。我的男朋友太多了。
戈登：我希望我也能遇到象你这样的问题。

If you eat too much junk food, you will get fat.

4) Junk mail （垃圾邮件）: mail you don't want, but pours in anyway
I often get junk mail. It seems everyone wants to sell me something.
我经常收到垃圾邮件，看上去就象是每个人都想卖点儿东西给我。
5) Just plain junk （纯粹就是一堆垃圾）: something that is bad, no good
This old computer is just plain junk.
这台老电脑纯粹就是一堆垃圾。
