  Some of us may be afraid of speaking english in front of our classmates or to foreigners we meet,because we think we can not make ourselves understood.This is not necessary.If we try ,we may find it not so difficult to understand one another.We will find it very satisfactory to be able to communicate with foreigners.
  Though we lack an english atomsphere in china,many good english books and tapes are available to make it up to an extent.So,if we make good use of them,we will improve our english,including reading and listening,and other skills of using english.
  I found reciting english texts a very good way to practice my spoken english.It's hard work,but once you start and kkeep on doing it,you will surely make progress.
  What's more,a good attitude toward english is improtant.We must remember english is not learned just for passing exam.It is very useful language,so we must use it.
