Where the place is
What the place is called
unwind [ˌʌnˈwaɪnd]
wind [waɪnd] down
release the pressure(释放压力)
relieve the stress(缓解压力)
switch off (常见的意思为“关掉“<电源,带有电源的机器或者水龙头>,电子产品停止工作,自动切断电源等)
chill out
loosen up
Well, the place where I'm able to unwind is a café in my neighborhood called Coffee Bene. It's not far from my place, only a 10-minute walk. And it's a really popular place in the surrounding.
in the neighborhood/ surrounding 在附近
How you got to know this place
我们可以思考who took you to the place, when did you go there, what did you do in the place, how often do you go there。
How you got to know this place,注意题干关键词got to know, 我们就要使用一般过去时来交代与这个地方的“初次相遇”!
示范
I found the place by accident about several months ago. At that time, my friend Lily and I were hanging out on the street. Then the newly opened café attracted our attention, so we walked in and had a nice conversation. After that, I go there almost every month.
by accident adv. 偶然
hang out v.
on the street 在路边
the newly opened café 新开的咖啡店
attract one's attention v.
explain what can you
do there to relax
Sometimes I just go there by myself. I’d listen to some soothing music and do my schoolwork. At the same time, I usually enjoy a cup of hand-made coffee. And some other times, I would go there with my besties, we just enjoy the afternoon tea, and chat about our daily life every now and then. What else, oh, there are some delectable desserts as well. Whenever there is some new cake or cookies, I’d definitely have a bite.
soothing music n.
hand-made coffee n.
some other times 有时候
delectable adj. 美味的
every now and then adv.
have a bite v.
Why you think it's relaxing
As for the reasons why I think it's relaxing, first, I can read various kinds of books here. The place has a big collection of books, like science fiction, autobiography, some magazines and so on. The customers can choose any book they like to go with the soft music here. As a bookworm, it's really a perfect place for me to kill time and chill out.
various kinds of 各种各样的(同a variety of )
a big collection of 许多的(收集的)

kill time v.

What's more, the café has a very good vibe, it's really inviting and welcoming. This is the place where I can immerse myself into study. And I feel refreshed after staying there for a while. It's a secret place where I can gain some healing power and positive energy, and have my assignments done. I suppose everyone needs a place like this for relaxation.
So yeah, that's the place I'd like to share with you. Thank you.
