The interesting animal I’d like to talk about is the panda. As we all know, they are our Chinese treasure, they could only be found here in China. We even have a thing called panda diplomacy. You know, our national leaders would send panda babies or couples to other countries as diplomatic gifts, to show our friendliness and sincerity. Everyone is crazy about pandas ‘cause they are just so cute and interesting.
First of all, they are so chubby, when they are sitting there, eating bamboos, they are just like a ball of fur. And they are flexible. When they are playing, they like to roll around. I’ve seen so many hilarious videos about pandas. Sometimes they can be very clumsy. They always fall down from trees, and they like to play with zookeepers. There’s a channel called ipanda where videos about pandas’ everyday life are updated regularly. And this channel has millions of fans from all around the globe.
I heard that in Japan, people are obsessed with pandas, but the zoo is not big enough to hold everyone who wants to be there, so in order to control the number of visitors, they came up with a plan. You have to put your name on a list, and wait until it’s your turn, sometimes it could be months.
So I guess, it just goes to show how interesting this kind of animal is.
