Directors of organizations receive higher salaries than the ordinary workers, some people think it is necessary while others think it is unfair. 

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. 

【段落示范】（主体部分第1段）

It is not unreasonable to question this pay scheme, given that ordinary staff usually work longer hours than senior managers or directors. 

So, the lower salaries seem disproportionate to their heavier workload. 

* 第1、2句话形成“横向展开”。先说普通工作者的工时长，再说薪水和工作量不成比例，从而说明为什么可能unfair。

At the same time, it is believed that execution of plans is more valuable than or at least of the equal value to the development of or strategies. 

So, ordinary workers – those who carry out tasks – may deserve salaries that can match up to the those of directors, who seem to simply come up with ideas and give instructions. 

* 第3、4句话，也是“横向展开”。先说执行计划比制定计划更有价值或起码是同等价值，再说普通工作者是执行计划的人，而*级管理层是制定计划的人，从而说明为什么可能unfair。

* 这一段用并列的两次“横向展开”论证了为什么是unfair。
