今年是英国女王伊丽莎白二世的钻石庆典。登基60周年，是英国历史上第二位在位超过60年的君主。这期间伊丽莎白二世历经了12任英国首相、12任美国总统，出访过116个国家。

　　The Queen's diamond jubilee celebrated with gun salute. At midday on Monday the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery fired a 41-gun royal salute in London's Hyde Park to mark the start of the diamond jubilee, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Queen's ascension to the throne. At 1pm the Honourable Artillery Company fired a 62-gun salute at the Tower of London.

　　The Royal Mail has issued a special sheet of first class stamps to mark the 60thanniversary of the Queen’s accession to the throne. The Diamond Jubilee Miniature Sheet, issued today, is the first time that the official portraits of the Queen, which have been used on stamps, coins and banknotes throughout her reign, have been brought together for a set of stamps.

　　另外，英国皇家邮政为庆祝女王登基60周年而特别推出了一组普通邮票。这组女王登基60周年小型张邮票于今天发行，采用的肖像曾经多次出现在邮票和钱币上，而这次发行的邮票是次把这些肖像都集合在了一起。

　　'The Queen’s image is one of the most recognisable in the world. This Diamond Jubilee Miniature Sheet is the second of three stamp issues in 2012 celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The first was The House of Windsor and Saxe-Coburg-Gotha issued last week, which featured a 1954 portrait of the Queen.

　　女王的肖像是世界上辨识度的肖像之一。女王登基60周年小型张邮票是2012年计划发行的三组庆祝女王登基的邮票中的第二组。组邮票已于上周由温莎堡发行，使用的是女王1954年的肖像。
